MO'JU is a First Nations (Wiradyuri), Second generation (Filipinx), Third culture & Third Gender kid.

An artist who makes squelchy, glitchy, neo-soulful music, low-brow art and likes to document and archive things.

A prolific songwriter and seasoned live performer whose work has achieved critical acclaim, commercial success and an impressive swag of industry awards and nominations.

They have contributed music (both soundtrack and score) to a range of film and television. Their poetry and prose have been published in anthologies and collections, and they have developed and presented theatre and stage productions for some of the most prestigious venues in the country.

An enthusiastic collaborator they have worked with many artists from around the country and the globe. Most recently in 2023 they collaborated with both the Melbourne and Sydney Symphony Orchestras (arranged by Jamie Messenger) for live performances at Hamer Hall and The Sydney Opera House respectively, and contributed work to Oliver Beer's Resonance Project: The Cave which was premiered at the 17th Biennale de Lyon (2024-2025).

In 2025 MO'JU received the State Library Victoria Creative Fellowship. A collection of MO'JU's photographs are held alongside an original composition as part of the Rebel Heart Exhibition in the Keith Murdoch Gallery of the Library.

MO'JU is currently pursuing a PhD in Indigenous Arts and Culture at the Wilin Centre, University of Melbourne.
